Katherine wada jewels logo

June 20, 2015

When my best friend started her jewelry line, Katherine Wada, and then asked me to help create her logo, it was a no-brainer.  Of course she was the brains behind the operation, but its safe to say it was a joint bestie effort, and we were both so happy with the outcome.  I love the art deco vibe of her classic jewelry legacy.  We created a logo, a signature sun burst, and a little Thank You Card to include in her packaging.  Check out more, here!

When Julie asked me to style a little photo shoot to get in the mood for some holiday shopping, I was tickled.  I met Julie about a year ago, when she was still teaching, and have since watched her grow Rais Case into a blossoming brand.  I’ve admired her creative spirit and been in awe of her talent, so I couldn’t have been more honored to be part of this project.  For this shoot, I wanted to create something warm yet bold.  I wanted to juxtapose the masculine leathers and Pendleton fabrics with sequins and romantic dresses.   The dark backdrop allowed us to highlight the handbags with a touch of girly in the details.  Such a fun project and such an amazing team.  Check out the rest of the photos at Rais Case, and shop some handpicked holiday styles here, entering the code ‘sugarandspice’ for an extra 20% off through November!

Thanks again to a fabulous team:

I’m dying over these photos Tiff put together after one last pull for Fashion Frontline Season 3.  I’m especially grateful to our friends at Swirl Boutique in Encinitas, whom we’ve been able to steal amazing outfits from and whom we’ve created a lasting relationship with.  I’m excited to grow my styling portfolio and have such amazing support around me and within the community.  Like I always tell Tiff, its easy to style someone who looks brilliant in everything…  After wrapping 74 episodes of Fashion Frontline (I know), I’m proud of the work behind us and looking forward to exciting projects in our future.  Thanks for letting me share these gorgeous photos! (I can’t even)
